Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer who can design, deploy, and
maintain complex hybrid infrastructures—spanning both on-premise (ESXi/vSphere,
NAS/SAS storage) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
The ideal candidate will lead automation, CI/CD, and monitoring initiative while ensuring
system scalability, reliability, and security across all environments.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Management
- Architect and manage on-prem virtualized environments using VMware ESXi/vSphere,
NAS/SAS storage, and Linux-based servers. - Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and IaC (Infrastructure as
Code) principles. - Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for critcal workloads.
Automaton & CI/CD - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuraton, and deployment processes.
- Lead DevOps best practices adoption across multiple engineering teams.
Containerization & Orchestration - Deploy, maintain, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (onprem and cloud).
- Manage Helm charts, secrets/configs, ingress, and monitoring integrations.
Monitoring & Observability - Implement and manage Zabbix and Grafana dashboards for performance visibility.
- Integrate system logs and security alerts with Wazuh, Elasticsearch, and AlertManager.
- Define SLA/SLI/SLO metrics for proactive infrastructure health monitoring.
Security & Compliance - Work closely with security teams to implement Wazuh agents, vulnerability scanning, and
log correlation. - Enforce access control, secrets management, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR,
etc.). - Harden Linux servers, network configurations, and CI/CD environments.
Collaboration & Leadership - Mentor junior DevOps engineers and guide cross-functional teams in automation and
operations. - Collaborate with development, QA, and network teams to ensure seamless delivery
pipelines. - Lead incident response, post-mortem analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles.
- Proven experience managing hybrid infrastructure (ESXi/vSphere + Cloud).
Strong expertise in: - Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL) administration
- Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (multi-node clusters), Zabbix, Grafana, Wazuh
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers.
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD best practices.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) or Prometheus/Alertmanager.
- Experience with Nginx reverse-proxy, WAFs (ModSecurity/NAXSI), and SSL/TLS hardening.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization and infrastructure scaling strategies.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience in DevOps teams.
